Our Love Story
Somewhere between 2003-2004
We briefly met while I was visiting my sister at college. Back then I was just a young duckling and never thought I would see Trevor again.
Sometime in 2008
Trevor moved to a city near Newburgh, NY(where I grew up) and began going to Michael's Sports Bar on Sundays to watch the Buffalo Bills. He ran into my parents there and they caught up and became football friends. Once in awhile, I would go Michael's with my parents for the game and would run into Trevor. We were still at very different points in our lives and nothing ever came of our meetings back then.
2010
I moved to Buffalo, NY for a new adventure in life. My parents, sister and brother-in-law were coming to Buffalo in October to go to the Bills/Jets game and we had an extra ticket. My mom being my mom invited Trevor to come to Buffalo for the game with us (she also invited him to stay at my apartment).

New Years Eve 2010-2011
After a few months of "talking," Trevor came back to Buffalo for New Years Eve. We made it "official" and that following week Trevor came with me to my parents house for their annual Christmas Party.
January 2011
During the Seattle Seahawks/New Orleans Saints playoff game that weekend we made a bet. If Seattle won, I would pack my life up and move to Saratoga Springs, NY to be with Trevor. I am sure you can guess what happens next ... Seattle Seahawks WON!

I moved in with Trevor and we lived happily ever after. Well sort of ... Living together without really knowing each other definitely challenge our relationship. We fought, but the most important thing is that we always fought for each other and our love. Our laughs and good times always outweighed our troubles.

We went on a weekend getaway to the Finger Lakes for a wine tour and got engaged! That was one of the best weekends of my life!

Dreaming about what you want in life and going for it is one of the greatest feelings. After a visit to Charleston, SC in September 2011 we knew we wanted to move here one day. Why not have that one day happen six days after our wedding?!
After a 15 hour drive ... We can now call Charleston, SC home!
November 25, 2012 -
We added a new member to our little family. This is Thurman, he is our Vizsla(that's pronounced Veeezsh-luh) puppy that we love more than anything.

We hope you continue to read our blog as we explore Charleston and life as a married couple. We love life's adventurous and all the happiness they offer us. There is nothing better than exploring something new with the person you love (and your dog).
